QA Analyst

Title: QA Analyst

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 1 year

Responsibilities

Understanding of Agile Framework and Scrum Events

Reviewing and analyzing system specifications.

Develop and execute functional test cases and perform testing utilizing user stories contained within Agile Sprints.

Perform Cross browser and Mobile device testing

Review project requirements to ensure requirements are testable.

Provide estimates on the amount of time needed to complete testing related tasks within a sprint.

Track test execution results

Utilize DevOPS for tracking defects found during testing is a plus

Analyze functional specs for completeness & testability.

Analyze test output, identifying discrepancies and clearly documenting defects.

Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Ability to assist with all aspects of manual testing as required

Strong communication skills to present metric data to project teams and report out work activities during scrum meetings.

Skills

Hands on Quality Assurance Tester

Experience in project management and QA methodology

5 years Agile Scrum experience  - Familiarity with Agile framework with ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Working knowledge of test management software

Strong communication skills

Good SQL skills, Comfortable querying data and working in a technical environment

Testing Tools:

Agile and Test management tools – Azure DevOps and HPALM

Mobile device testing – IOS and Android

Cross browser testing

Database – Oracle
